A dusting of powder can help with creasing – it’s hard to find a concealer that doesn’t crease under the eyes, although some do more than others. The skin under the eyes tends to be a little drier however so you could try mixing a drop of eye cream into the product to help with that. I need coverage under my eyes as I tend to be very dark under there, I found this concealer gave good coverage. Make sure you blend it very well into the skin – it comes with a stick applicator but use the warmth from your fingers a brush works well to buff it in too. It was a drier consistency then I imagined, therefore good skin prep before is essential (regular gentle exfoliation and moisturising well) otherwise I found it could look a little cakey. I’ve also been trying the new concealer which came out before the foundation back in the summer. The outer packaging from purchase is made from pulp and can be put in paper recycling. The pipette can be broken down – put the glass component in the bottle for recycling, and take the rest to your local Body Shop as they will take those tricky bits. The Kjaer Weis range is based on being refillable, for this bottle you can buy a reusable metal cap. My only criticism is the pipette dispenser, I would have preferred a pump, but I wonder if that is to do with the ability to recycle. Buying online can of course be tricky when making an investment buy like this – Content Beauty offer a sample service if you email them directly.Ģ023 Update – still loving it and got a few in my kit! I’d love to have a few colours for my kit and probably will invest in some at some point. I’ve only got one colour (that I was kindly gifted) but I managed to use on a couple of faces other than my own and loved it on them too – looked lovely on camera. It’s not cheap at £42 but I think it is a great product. I’ve got a video where I talk about it and show the colour here. I’ve got F-136 Ethereal which was great but a little dark for me now in winter – however I have been mixing with a lighter Ere Perez that I’ve got and it works really well. I’d normally have done a swatch of them all by now, but of course COVID is limiting things so I’ve borrowed the one from the Kjaer Weis website. I find you can build it where you need more – dab/push it into the skin to build coverage. The foundation gives light to medium coverage – I like to use fingers or a brush to apply. I tend to not powder that much but oilier skins could benefit from powdering it for sure. It lasts well and doesn’t dry skin out (always prep well beforehand) A light dusting of powder can help further with longevity. The texture is lightweight and silky and gives skin a lovely glow – not shiny but definitely luminous. I absolutely love the new addition to the range. I guess the liquid foundation is more like the mix I like to make. I always tend to mix the cream foundation with an oil or luminising primer, as I love a more fluid texture. The Cream Foundation has been a staple in my kit for a while now so I was excited to try this new texture. One of my favourite make-up products from 2020 was definitely the new Kjaer Weis Invisible Touch Liquid Foundation.
